The CAL will be designed using worsted weight acrylic yarn, using a hook H/5.0mm and will be written in US terms. You, however, are free to use whichever type of yarn you choose to buy or from your stash, and whichever hook is correct for the type of yarn you're using. Take note, this may change the size of your finished project but since this CAL is not clothing, size doesn't matter!
This CAL will consist of a bunch of different squares and we will then join them together with a border at the end. You are able to choose what you make though! You can make a scarf, an afghan, a pillow, dish cloths, a poncho or anything else you can imagine!
For the purpose of narrowing down our designing, we will only be touching on the scarf and afghan, but you're welcome to make them into anything, the possibilities are endless.
The finished scarf will be made up of 12 squares, and the afghan will consist of 48 squares (6 x 8). The approximate size of the scarf will be 6" x 72" (plus border and joining) and the approximate size of the afghan will be 36" x 48" (plus border and joining), this is assuming all your squares 6" x 6".
