If you are making the scarf you should have a total of 12 squares, 1 of each square. If you are making the afghan you should have a total of 48 squares, 4 of each square. Or of course, feel free to use your squares for any other project and make enough of each square that you require.

Joining

For joining our squares our designers have decided the flat braid join would be a nice addition. You can find a photo tutorial here or part 1 of 3 (the other 2 parts are listed in the "up next" section) for a video tutorial here.

Border

Work 3 SC in each chain loop around (from your flat braid join) and 2SC, ch2, 2SC in each corner loop.

Once you have your SC round, you have endless options for your border, here are a few of our favorites.

If this joining and border suggestions aren't your style, feel free to choose something else! There is no limits! It has been a pleasure stitching with you these past weeks, and we hope to see you again some day!

If you have any questions regarding the pattern or the CAL in general, please post to the facebook group as you will receive the quickest response time from there.
